How Horizon Began
Horizon was born from a simple love of books and the desire to share that reading experience with others.
We noticed that many people automatically reach for familiar titles or books that get a lot of attention on social media. Yet there are so many amazing stories out there just waiting to be discovered.
With Horizon, we want to encourage readers to step outside their comfort zone. Not by simply sending a random book, but by carefully selecting each Blind Date based on your favourite genres and preferences.

When placing your order, you can tell us which genres, authors or tropes you enjoy, as well as which books you’ve already read or would prefer to avoid. This allows us to make every Blind Date as personal as possible while, of course, keeping the surprise intact. You can also easily share a link to your Goodreads or Fable profile, so we can see which books you already own or have read and select something new for you.
